The combined team of about 30 members visited three sites: Foundation for Differently-Abled Persons (FDAP), the girls' annex of the Social Development Center (SDC), and the boys' annex of the SDC.

Colonel Edward Van Giezen handed off leadership to Lieutenant Col. Michael Hiller, who has been a Command and General Staff Officer Course Core Curriculum instructor in the school since November of 2014. Van Giezen will now head Human Resources for the command.

The 361st Civil Affairs Brigade's 773rd Civil Support Team and the Medical Support Unit-Europe participated with more than 2,000 combined personnel from Serbia, NATO, and partner nations throughout the duration of the exercise. The exercise aimed to foster interoperability for preparedness towards any international disaster response necessary in the future.

Two decades ago this month, the memorial was erected in honor of Erick Lynch, a former Kaiserslautern American High School student, tragically killed in a fall while hiking in the Swiss Alps in July of 1998.

The 7th MSC operated a logistics command post for Operation Victory Over There near Verdun, France, working with the French military at Base d'Etain. Victory Over There was a series of commemorative events running from Sept. 20-24 conducted jointly by the American Battle Monuments Commission and the U.S. Army Center of Military History.
