The unit, which encompasses Alaska, American Samoa, Guam, Hawaii and Siapan, was put to the ultimate test during its weeklong training event to work together as they tackled simulated combat situations.

Saipan-based Soldiers with the 302nd Quartermaster Company – Detachment 1, 9th Mission Support Command, U.S. Army Reserve, go online to check their military emails, as well as to conduct mandatory Web-based training during battle assembly at the U.S. Army Reserve Center, Saipan, Jan. 10. The Deployed Digital Training Campus (DDTC), which comes with laptops and video teleconferencing capabilities, enhances these Soldiers’ training and readiness by allowing them access to military websites, typically not accessible from home.
